Two (2) Central High School students were honored by the W.S. Harman Foundation. Savanna Yates and Bradley Kessler were awarded scholarships by Cherri Harman LeBlanc and Chuck Harman.
The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) held a graduation ceremony for 41 newly-trained Juvenile Correctional Officer (JCO) cadets on Friday, May 20, at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, Ga.
Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said Thursday that Brunswick recorded an all-time low unemployment rate of 2.4 percent in April, down nine-tenths of a percent over the month. A year ago, the rate was 3.9 percent.
