Baldwin County School District Education: 4,314 students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 4,314 students enrolled in Baldwin County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 4.5% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50% of them were female, and 50% were male.

Data also shows that most of the students were Black, representing 65% of the Baldwin County School District's total enrollment.

Baldwin County School District roughly covers six schools within Baldwin County and has a main office in Milledgeville.

Among the six schools in Baldwin County School District, Baldwin High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,244 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Chronic absenteeism in Georgia has declined from its 2022 peak of 25%, but it still remains above pre-pandemic levels (11.8%). In 2024, about 20.7% of all students in the state missed 10% or more of their classes.
