FOIA Request Sent to Jasper County Election Department Regarding Ballot Counting Methods on October 29, 2024

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to the Jasper County Election Department in Georgia on October 29, 2024. The request, filed by Central Georgia News, seeks detailed information about the methods being used to count votes in the upcoming election.

The inquiry specifically asks for a list of methods utilized for vote counting. If manual counting is being employed, the request also seeks an estimated number of people who will be working on election night.
