Hancock County School District: 6 Hispanic students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were six Hispanic students enrolled in Hancock County school district in the 2022-23 school year, the same number as the previous year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Data showed that Hancock County school district welcomed 664 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 0.9% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the county's school district.

This is the only school district located within Hancock County, with its main office in Sparta.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 15:1, which is better than the national average of 16:1. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
