Georgia Military College (GMC) welcomes Lisa Kelley as the new Head Rifle Coach for GMC Junior College. Coach Kelley comes to GMC with a wealth of shooting knowledge and experience.

Kelley is an NRA/USA Shooting Level 3 certified rifle and pistol coach with 14 years of coaching experience. Her past rifle teams have won nine championships including four national championships. Kelley has served on the USA Shooting Board of Directors and most recently Kelley served four years as the Georgia State Director of the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Within the shooting community, Kelley has taken on the role of judge and tournament director at different shooting events.

“This is an opportunity to assist athletes on their shooting sports journey and to continue to develop the program by building on the foundation and accomplishments of the prior rifle coaches at GMC,” said Kelley. “The vision for the growth of the rifle program and the mission of GMC intersect nicely. The opportunity to be able to implement the vision with the support and enthusiasm of the administration and staff is outstanding.”

Kelley attended Georgia State University and graduated with a degree in Mathematics. She is married to John Kelley and together they have three children. Georgia Military College is excited to have Coach Kelley join the GMC family!
