Fundraisingmoney

The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation exists to support students and programs at the college, and their Denim & Diamonds Event scheduled for Friday, April 21 hopes to do just that.

“This will be an exciting night filled with entertainment, a good meal, and it offers attendees an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the students in our communities who attend OFTC,” shared Kathy Aaron, OFTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the Foundation.

“Funds raised during this event allow the Foundation to offer scholarships and purchase tools and other needed resources to support students and programs at the college,” she added.

Attendees should come dressed in their best denim and diamonds attire to enjoy an evening of cocktails, food, fun, and dancing. The Day 1 Party Band (formerly Xtreme Party Band) of Atlanta will perform a range of music from Carolina Beach music to todays’ tunes.

The event will take place in the Dubose Porter Center located on the college’s Dublin Campus with cocktails beginning at 6:00 PM and dinner served at 6:30 PM. The band is slated to perform at 7:30 PM.

The cost to attend is $500 per table (eight people) or $250 for a half table (four people).

For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Kathy Aaron at kaaron@oftc.edu or call 478-553-2148. To learn more about OFTC and the 130+ programs available, visit OFTC.edu.
