County of Emanuel issued the following announcement on Feb. 23.
This month the Emanuel County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the dedicated volunteers of the Summertown Fire Department for freely giving their time and putting themselves in harms way when duty calls. Thank you to each volunteer for your dedication to making Emanuel County a safer place.
