Oconee Fall Line Technical College issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.
The Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) Foundation exists to support students and programs at the college, and their Denim & Diamonds Event scheduled for Friday, April 22 hopes to do just that.
“This will be an exciting night filled with entertainment, a good meal, and also a way attendees can make a difference in the lives of the students in our communities who attend OFTC,” shared Kathy Aaron, OFTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and the Foundation.
“Funds raised during this event allow us to offer scholarships, purchase tools and other resources to support students and programs at the college,” she added.
Dressed in their best denim and diamonds attire, attendees will enjoy an evening of cocktails, food, fun, and dancing. The Xtreme Party Band (Formerly Pilot 54) of Atlanta will feature a range of music from Carolina Beach music to today’s tunes.
The event will take place in the Dubose Porter Center located on the college’s Dublin Campus with cocktails beginning at 5:30 PM and dinner served at 6:00 PM.
The cost to attend is $500 per table (eight people) or $250 for a half table (four people).
