Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 23. 

We are very proud and excited to continue to introduce the 2021-2022 Leadership Putnam Board!

Moving forward with Leadership Putnam Board Co-Chair, CEO of Lake Country Marketing, and Development Director at the Plaza Arts Center, Lisa Tubbs!

Lisa Tubbs has 20 plus years’ experience in the corporate communications and public relations arenas. Before creating Lake Country Marketing, she published Southern Journal Magazine (www.southernjournalmagazine. com) which has given her the very best access and training in the media field.

She was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal to both the Juvenile Justice Reform Board and the GOCF (Governor's Office of Children and Family Services). In 2017 she received proclamations from both Governor Deal and Lt. Governor Casey Cagle for her dedication to promoting the great state of Georgia.

She is a graduate of the Leadership Henry 2006 class and went on to serve on the Leadership Henry BOD for three consecutive terms. After graduating from Leadership Putnam in 2021 she took her previous leadership class experiences and developed the Leadership Putnam Board where she serves as Co-Chair. Lisa has one son who will graduate from Kennesaw State University in the Spring and she is married to Steve Tubbs. The Tubbs live on Lake Sinclair and are active members of First Baptist Church of Eatonton.
