Job

Oconee Fall Line Technical College issued the following announcement on July 28.

Nearly 200 local job seekers attended Oconee Fall Line Technical College’s (OFTC) 2021 Career and Job Expo in Dublin and Sandersville, July 21st and 28th. Job seekers had opportunities to mingle with local employers seeking to hire qualified applicants.

OFTC hosts this annual Career and Job Expo in hopes of bringing employers and job seekers together to fill employment gaps and to connect job seekers to potential career opportunities.

“We love hosting this event every year,” shared Saketta Brown, Career Services and Disabilities Coordinator at OFTC. “It helps meet the needs of employers in the community and those who are looking for a new career. We also present training opportunities available at OFTC interested in gaining additional skills and qualifications for their desired career.”

During the 2021 Career & Job Expo employers set up booths in OFTC’s conference centers. Job seekers had opportunities to learn about open positions and present themselves as potential candidates for hire. Several companies even scheduled interviews and filled open positions before the conclusion of the event.
