Which Treutlen County school saw the biggest enrollment in 2022-23 school year?

Treutlen Middle/High School had the highest enrollment among Treutlen County schools, welcoming 516 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52% of them were female, and 48% were male.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 51% of the Treutlen Middle/High School total enrollment.

Among the two schools in Treutlen County, Treutlen Elementary School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 427 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Treutlen Middle/High School is part of Treutlen County School District, which generally encompasses schools within Treutlen County, with its main office in Soperton.

In the previous school year, Treutlen Middle/High School also had the highest number of students among Treutlen County schools.

As of 2024, Georgia has an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:15, which is better than the national average of 1:16. The state has its best student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1 in pre-kindergarten and middle school grades, while high school has an average ratio of 17:1.
