2022: 31 coaches at institutions in Baldwin County earned on average $30,757

Baldwin County’s 31 coaches earned an average salary of $30,757 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the 13th lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Georgia post-secondary schools during 2022.

Baldwin County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, Georgia College & State University stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $34,958.

Male coaches of men's teams received $28,286 on average in Baldwin County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $30,935.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
