2021 has 5.6% of Jasper County residents unemployed

Jasper County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.6% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 346 people out of the 14,478 living in Jasper County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Jasper County has increased compared to the 5.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Jasper County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.5%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
