81.7% of Greene County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 18,461 citizens living in Greene County in 2021, 81.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 15,076 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 7,362 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 7,714 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Greene County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 76.2%.
