Emanuel County Institute issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.
Ten ECI FBLA members attended the Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conference in Atlanta March 10-13, 2022. Congratulations to FBLA members for a very successful State Leadership Conference.
During the conference, members competed in various events as well as attended leadership classes.
Members also served as assistance in competitive events. The chapter received awards that included: being named a Superior Gold Chapter in the Chapter of the Year program. Then received 2nd overall chapter in the Division 2 of Chapter of the Year Program. They were also recognized for the 100 Member Club and member Achievement. The chapter increased its membership over last year.
The following members were awarded: Alaya Hudson and Lily Kate Robertson, 4th place Local Chapter Annual Business Report; Will Sasser, Wallee Kersey, and Smith Willoughby Business Achievement Capstone Award. While at the conference, Salma Cueva received the Community Service Achievement Award for having over 100 volunteer hours. Mrs. Jessica Smith was also named Region 4 Advisor of the Year. Two members qualified for Nationals this summer in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Smith stated, "I am extremely proud of this group of students, they have worked very hard to ensure success in their competition!"
