SWAINSBORO-EMANUEL COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Ribbon Cutting

Zt

Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 28.

Welcome to the Chamber!

We held a ribbon cutting on Friday, February 25th, 2022 for The Chick-fil-A Vidalia Food Truck before their first official day in business serving our community. Ken Warnock, Chamber CEO, welcomed Chick-fil-A to Swainsboro and expressed the excitement our town has had for a Chick-fil-A presence right here in Emanuel County. Following Ken, Britt McDade, owner/operator of Chick-fil-A Vidalia, said a few words about being awarded the food truck and how it will allow the business to expand into rural communities in our area. Kenny Griffin gave an invocation before the ribbon was cut, and all city and county representatives and Chamber of Commerce board members participated in a "first bite" with Britt McDade before the truck took the first order. Their first day in business was a huge success thanks to everyone who came by and placed an order. The food truck will be here from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, March 11th and Friday, March 25th. They plan to be here every Friday after the 25th.

Welcome to the Chamber, Chick-fil-A Vidalia! And a special thank you to all who attended!
