County of Baldwin issued the following announcement on Nov. 9.
Baldwin County has been selected as one of the five communities that will make up the Georgia Initiative for Community Housing (GICH) 2022 Community Cohort! Over the next three years, Baldwin County’s housing team will be provided important information, facilitation, and networking opportunities designed to help them develop a locally-driven housing plan for the community.
This plan will serve as a guide that both identifies the unique housing issues Baldwin County faces and provides strategies on how to address them. Being recognized as a GICH community is a highly sought-after designation and provides important benefits to the community. It requires several years of significant dedication and hard work from the Baldwin County housing team.
