County of Greene issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
On Friday, November 5, 2021 any ballot that was timely received (prior to the end of election day) but was not able to be accepted due to missing or mismatched information and now has been cured as per Georgia Code 21-2-386 (c) will be processed (opened, scanned and tabulated) at the office of the Greene County Board of Elections & Registration.
This process will begin at 4:30 pm and continue until complete.
Final results will then be certified at a meeting of the Greene County Board of Elections & Registration that will be held on Monday, November 8th, 2021 at noon.
