COUNTRY OF GREENE: Greene County Sheriff's Department to Patrol Games

Football

Country of Greene issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.

Good Sportsmanship

Our goal at the Greene County Recreation Department is to create an environment where our community can come together and enjoy friendly competition in a safe place.  For this goal to be achieved, coaches, parents, and players must remember that we are playing games to teach our children life lessons and to have fun.  We expect everyone to show good sportsmanship toward each other, officials, and opponents.  Anyone seen not doing so will unfortunately be asked to leave the facility.

Animals/Pets

Animals and pets are NOT allowed at the Greene County Recreation Department except for service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability.

Parking

You are expected to park in a courteous manner.  Please make sure when you are parking you are not blocking in other vehicles.  Anyone blocking in another vehicle is subject to being towed at your expense.  So please, before leaving your vehicle, make sure that you are not blocking the exit of another vehicle.

Security

To ensure the safety of the coaches, players and parents, going forward the Greene County Sheriff's Department will be patrolling the complex to help enforce these and other policies.
