Country of Greene issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
PUBLIC NOTICE - ADVANCE IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING
ADVANCE - IN - PERSON EARLY VOTING FOR GREENSBORO & UNION POINT MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD AS FOLLOWS:

Poll Hours
9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Dates
Tuesday, October 12th – Saturday, October 16th
Monday, October 18th – Saturday, October 23rd
Monday, October 25th – Friday, October 29th
**NOTE: Poll will not be open on Monday, October 11th due to the Columbus Day holiday.
Absentee Ballots
First day that Absentee Ballots by mail will be mailed out is October 12th and the deadline for our office to receive an application for a ballot is Friday, October 22nd.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 2nd and the polls in Union Point and Greensboro will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. Municipal voters must report to their assigned poll on Election Day.
