DUBLIN-LAURENS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Summer 2021 Bank of Dudley Hires

Office

Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.

Justin Wyatt, a lifelong Laurens County resident, joined Bank of Dudley as Chief Financial Officer in July. A “Double Eagle” graduate of Georgia Southern University, he has over 15 years of auditing experience with a focus on financial institutions from his tenure with TJS Deemer Dana LLP. Wyatt, a Certified Public Accountant, is married to wife Sarah, a teacher at Northwest Laurens Elementary School; they share two children, Logan and Lili Rae.

“Justin brings experience of bank auditing, financial review, and accounting to Bank of Dudley. He is a local guy who chose to come back home after college; work, and raise a family here in Dublin-Laurens County. We are excited about him joining our banking family,” said Sam Beall, President/CEO.

Joining the Bank of Dudley team is Joe Thomas as Vice President and Commercial Lender. As such, he will assist in the transition of retiring lenders. Thomas is a familiar face at Bank of Dudley, previously employed from 2014-2016 during which he served an integral role in the opening of the Jeffersonville, Georgia, branch. Thomas developed strong ties in the Jeffersonville, Milledgeville, and Warner Robins areas during his time at the branch.

Prior to banking, Thomas worked in manufacturing and has a strong history in operations and leadership. He has been married to wife Amy for 34 years, and share two sons and daughters-in-law, as well as three grandchildren.

“Joe brings over three decades of management experience including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and CEO duties. We plan to use his skill set throughout the various departments of our bank,” said Beall. “I’m excited to welcome him back as a leader at Bank of Dudley.”

Also returning to Bank of Dudley is Kevin O’Neal. He has resumed his role as Banking Officer and Commercial and Consumer Lender at the Veterans Boulevard branch in Dublin.   “Kevin previously worked with us for five years, and we’re thrilled he’s come back home. He is a family guy who understands what it means to be a true ‘community bank,’” said Beall.
