Washington County Regional Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
Dr. Sean Javaheri joins the great team over at 501 Sparta Road, Suite C, the Physician's Specialty Clinic where their specialties include hypertension, chest pains, and heart arrhythmia management. Dr. Javaheri graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine training at Tripler Army Medical Center. He then completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center and an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.
During his training, he was awarded two Resident of the Year awards and the John McClure Fellow of the Year award. He has received numerous teaching awards and was recognized in 2007 with an American College of Cardiology Young Investigator Award. Dr. Javaheri has published on subjects related to ST elevation myocardial infarction, anticoagulation for percutaneous coronary intervention and outcomes after chronic total occlusion intervention. Dr. Javaheri’s clinical interests include the interventional and non-interventional management of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, valvular heart disease, cardiac CTA and adult congenital heart disease.
