County of Emanuel issued the following announcement on July 21.
Emanuel County, please welcome our new public works director Justin Morris! Justin is being promoted to this position after having served in various positions for Emanuel County. As Public Works Director, Justin will oversee the Road Department, Fleet Maintenance, Facility Maintenance, Solid Waste, and the Transfer Station.
“I’m both humbled and honored to serve as Public Works Director of Emanuel County. I’m looking forward to this challenging and exciting opportunity. I also want to thank you for the support that’s been given; it is greatly appreciated.”
Justin has been married to his wife, Chelsie for 9 years. Justin and Chelsie have two children Tucker and Mollie.
