County of Emanuel issued the following announcement on July 23.
Emanuel County, meet our new Transfer Station Superintendent Travis Beach! Travis is being promoted to this position after having worked his way up in the Road Department He has been a construction/heavy equipment operator for over 25 years.
“I look forward to being the Transfer Station Superintendent and I believe hard work and dedication is the key to any job. Thank you for the opportunity.” Travis said.
Travis has a wife named Wendy who he has been married to for 28 years and together they have 3 sons; Kyle, Dakota and Coy, 2 daughter in laws Erin and Anna and 3 grandchildren, Gracie, Emmie and Cooper. When Travis has some free time he enjoys gardening, camping at the lake and spending time with his family and friends.
