Reports from the Georgia Department of Education show that Midway Hills Primary School enrolled 33 multiracial students in the 2024-25 school year, marking a 17.9% increase from the prior year.
According to the data, overall enrollment at Midway Hills Primary stood at 478 students in 2024-25. Multiracial students accounted for 7% of the total, positioning them as the second smallest group represented at the school.
The campus is part of the Baldwin County School District, which is headquartered in Milledgeville.
Within Baldwin County School District’s six schools, Baldwin High School reported the most multiracial students in 2024-25, enrolling 61.
The Georgia Department of Education’s Fiscal Year 2026-1 report counted over 1.7 million students in Georgia public schools. Enrollment figures were highest for elementary students at 787,206 (45.9%), followed by 388,733 in middle school (22.7%) and 539,092 in high school (31.4%).
Chronic absenteeism continues to affect schools across Georgia in the post-pandemic period. The Georgia Department of Education reported that 20.7% of students missed at least 10% of school days in 2024.
