Fairview Park Hospital issued the following announcement on June 22.

“A great nurse is difficult to part with and impossible to forget.” – Unknown

Emily Wyatt, RN, was recently awarded the DAISY Award for her extraordinary work in the ICU at Fairview Park Hospital. Emily was described as caring and thoughtful as she took extra time to explain everything regarding the patient she was caring for, held the hands of their loved ones, and went above and beyond the call of a nurse as she tended to the patient and family in every aspect, physically and emotionally. She was presented the award by the patient’s family as they felt especially cared for during their time at Fairview.

Congratulations, Emily, on your outstanding accomplishment, and thank you for the way you serve our patients at Fairview Park Hospital!
