EMANUEL COUNTY INSTITUTE: ECI & SHS 21st Century Leaders Participate in Tree-Plenish Project

Emanuel County Institute recently issued the following announcement.

Emanuel County Institute and Swainsboro High’s 21st Century Leaders teamed up and delivered over 100 trees to teachers for their Tree-Plenish Project. 21st Century Leaders chose to participate in a Tree-Plenish event to help replace trees in their community because of the amount of paper that is used in their schools. Teachers had the choice of red maples, eastern red buds, or north red oaks. Mrs. Elizabeth Kraus and Mrs. Jessica Hirst hope to make this an annual event and hope it will grow larger next year.
