Cochran-Bleckley Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 24.

The Chamber Spotlight of the Week is again highlighting building improvements in Bleckley County

Let’s start with a well recognized landmark in Bleckley County- the courthouse. From paint, to new windows, to new flooring, and other upgrades, the courthouse is moving in a good direction for the interior to match the beautiful exterior. We visited the newly relocated Chief Magistrate Carolyn Martin’s office upstairs, which showcases her iconic love of all things flamingos.

The next building to highlight is the Bleckley County Health Department, which received much needed new windows and lighting to brighten the place up.

Improvements like these continue to help Cochran & Bleckley county grow in being a welcoming and beautiful place for those both just passing through and those who call it home

Join us again next Friday as we spotlight a local business
