Atrium Health Navicent issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.

After a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Atrium Health Navicent Family Birth Center has resumed offering tours to expectant parents.

“Tours allow patients to have more peace of mind in planning for the arrival of their new addition, offering a sneak peak at labor and delivery suites, where they’ll report to OB assessment and more,” said Debra Riley, assistant vice president for Atrium Health Navicent Patient Care Services. “With the decrease in local COVID-19 cases, we’re glad to resume offering tours.”

Tours will comply with Atrium Health Navicent’s COVID-19 Safe Visitor Restrictions. All participants must wear masks and observe social distancing. Tours will be limited to a maximum of six participants. Smaller groups may be necessary depending on the space visited. Call 478-633-2771 to make an appointment for a tour.
